JOIN OUR PRIDE PARTY at Hunters Chicago

Dear friends, family, loyal patrons and fans,

I am deeply 

disappointed and saddened to bring you bad news. Hunters Chicago has been working very hard in the last year to be a part of the Chicago Pride Fest 2012 for the very first time. Thursday, one week before the Pride Fest, we were informed by the Special Events Management by email that, "The North Halsted Chamber has lost the right to have an open parking lot originally allocated for the festival to be used for this event.” Pride Fest has been downsized and our booth was cut from the event. Protocol for the cut was that Hunters Chicago was not located on Halsted Street and that we were a vendor booth and not a sponsor booth. Although this news is extremely disappointing, Hunters Chicago will not let this unfortunate situation brings us down, as someone once said, “we will make lemonade out of lemons”.

In lieu of participating at the Chicago Pride Fest 2012 event, Hunters Chicago will host the first annual “Suburban Pride” event on Sunday June 24, 2012. It will be a more intimate, less political and commercial Pride event with lots ofgive-a-ways, and fun gifts.  We will cooka fabulous complimentary BBQ, and serve delicious drinks specials.
